Dr. Beth Phillips is a strategic nursing advisor and senior manager of content strategy for ATI. Prior to joining ATI, Beth spent 16 years at Duke University as an associate professor and director of the Institute for Educational Excellence. She is a faculty emeritus at Duke and a specialist for Launch: Nursing Academic Readiness®, a unique ATI program focused on academic support for new nursing students. She has been a key figure and has a major role in analyzing data for nursing programs that implemented Launch, and has identified statistically significant improvements on student outcomes who have completed the program.
Dr. Amy Edmison is a nurse educator and administrator with over 10 years of experience in education and more than 15 years in nursing. She currently serves as a Nursing Education Consultant at ATI, where she collaborates with faculty to enhance professional development and curricular excellence. Dr. Edmison holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from King University, where her research focused on mentoring and nursing incivility. She has taught across all levels within BSN programs and has held key roles such as Program Director, Associate Dean, and Chief Nurse Administrator. Her expertise in improving retention and NCLEX pass rates positions her as a leading voice on academic readiness.
